In the hemostasis laboratory, we perform a broad spectrum of hemostasis assays for both screening tests and specialized hemostasis assays. We are eager to develop, evaluate, and introduce state-of-the-art diagnostics within the field of thrombosis and hemostasis to improve the care of patients. The laboratory has a 24/7 service and is accredited by the ISO15189. In addition, our laboratory performs hemostasis assays from clinical trials within, or outside the Erasmus MC. Finally, we serve as a central hemostasis reference laboratory for many hospitals in the South-West of the Netherlands.
